Backyard Patio Extension in Brooklet, Just Outside Statesboro

Just outside Statesboro in Brooklet, this family wanted more room for a grill, table, and firepit. Their existing 10x12 slab was solid but way too small.

We doweled rebar into the existing edge so the new pour would tie in structurally instead of just butting up. Then we formed out a 14x20 addition wrapping the corner of the house.

Finished with a light broom so it stays comfortable barefoot but won't get slick when it rains. Isolation joint at the house line, control joints laid out so the new slab reads as intentional — not a patch.
