Driveway Extension in Pembroke, East of Statesboro

This Pembroke family, a quick trip east of Statesboro, added a second work truck and needed real parking. Their existing driveway was in great shape — we just needed to double it.

The trick with extensions is the tie-in. We drilled and doweled rebar into the existing slab edge so the two pours act as one. Otherwise you get differential settling and a nasty crack right where they meet.

Matched the existing broom direction and joint pattern so it doesn't read as an addition. Compacted base, 4-inch slab, fiber-reinforced mix.
